HEY EVERYONE.
Remember how I said I would do a blog post about all the things that were happening in my life? Well, yeah, that would be too long for me to care to write, so instead I’ll sum it up here! Work. School. Work. Work.
Yeah, my day job really sucks it out of me. This time around though, I’m taking a short break for a different reason! I’m actually moving to a new apartment! Whoo! EXCITEMENT. Because of it though, I’ve had very little time to sit down and draw, considering I work 10 hours a day, and then have to spend the rest of it packing. Once I’m all settled in again though, I’ll get back to comics! Shouldn’t take more than a week or two, so don’t worry! Thanks again for reading! ilu all <3

Finally getting back into the full swing of comics! I know I took a few weeks off during the summer, but hey I’m here again working full steam on them! All the while I’ve got animations planned too, so look forward to those! There was the NATA 2013 tournament that took place a month or two ago, and I made it to the semi-finals in that. (Was only half a point away from getting into the finals!) But that was great fun! I’ll post the animations here once I’ve edited through and fixed a lot of the errors in them. Still though, prepare for more content coming your way!

Hey there everyone!
While making these comics, of course there’s going to be a few lemons out of the bunch that aren’t deemed funny enough to share to a general audience In times like these, these comics usually just sit in my sketchbook, usually never to be seen again. I figured it’d be a nice treat to show them every once in a while, maybe I could even make it into a regular thing.
PWP: The Knife Wrong
I thought of this one from that big Knife Song craze on YouTube. I figured to just have Boomie singing the song and have something silly in the 3rd panel. First I thought to just have his hand come off like an action figure, but his knife hitting his hand just felt to… simple. So I put the knife right smack dab in the middle of his chest. Of course, to get some sort of video game reference in there, who better to have as a doctor than Doctor Mario?
Either way, once I finished drawing this one and compared it to other comics (mainly The Grey One) it just wasn’t as funny. That’s when it went to the chopping block and had more than just its fingers cut off.
Yes, this week’s comic is late, but with intense midterms and essays to write it’s hard for anything to be on time. Expect it tomorrow though!

Hey everyone, It’s Chris!
Boy, I kind of forgot to update the blog at all in Lou of this webcomic nonsense. Ah well, can’t be helped much. To start things off, take a look at that wonderful commission I just got back from Zeurel ! I just love the way he drew Boomie and Savi! Especially Boomie’s face. GAH, THEY’RE SO EXCITED.
As far as other things go, comics have been coming steadily, though it is interesting getting into the groove of releasing a new comic every week. I had become so accustomed to only making a comic whenever I had an idea, which could be months apart, but now, I have to crank one out after the other! It’s challenging, but worth it in the long run. Speaking of comics, there won’t be one posted tonight (cliche I’ve been busy excuse) but expect one for tomorrow night. I’ve already got the audio mixed, all that’s left is to ink and color the comic.
Apart from comics, I also have been doing lots of animations. If you look, there’s a new page under the animations tab up top. It’s my first real animation, starring Sonic the Hedgehog. Some silly things happen to him in his ongoing fight with Dr.Eggman. That animation is finished, but there is one I’m working on right now. I won’t say too much about it, but it’s a mixture of Team Fortress 2 and The Fairly OddParents…
Okay, that sounds pretty bad.
Just hear me out on this one! It’s coming along nicely, just wait for it to be finished in the coming weeks. There’s another thing coming down the pipelines, I’m really just working on getting the story nice and settled before I start drawing it. A comic that is, the long dramatic story project is a comic.

WELCOME WELCOME! COME ONE, COME ALL, TO THE NEW PLAYING WITH PROPS WEBSITE!
I’m super excited to bring this new website to light! I honestly never thought something like this would ever come, but here it is! Playingwithprops.com is live! haha!
Starting off from the humble beginnings on Deviantart, I always figured I’d go on to make something worthwhile for people to look and laugh about. Laugh in the “Haha, this is funny” kind of way, not the “Haha, this is awful” kind of way. Any who, after making some fan comics here and there, I finally branched off and made my own characters, Boomie and Savi. From there, they went through about 3 redesigns until they were what you see today. At this point, I’ve only made about 5 or so comics with them and kind of stopped. That’s what being lazy will do to you, haha!
Since then, I’ve been practicing my art and talent, and went about creating this website. From here on out, I’m aiming for at least 1 new comic a week, and an animation soon to come!
Here’s hoping for the best!
